Yokohama Zoorasia

Zoorasia embody its theme of “Coexistence of life and harmony with nature” by designing facilities which realistically recreate natural habitat of each animal.
We worked on the rock surface of the polar bear house and the promenade that expresses the path that looks like walking between rocky valley.

Unfortunately, real stones are heavy and takes time to process and transport.
However, our imitation rock is lightweight and easy to carry and install while expressing realistic rock surface which is indistinguishable from the real one.

Furthermore, it is also possible to express imitation trees with our method. It is difficult to maintain real wood due to deterioration over time, so it will need to be replaced frequently.
However, you don’t need to worry about its maintenance with imitation wood.
